The Pooter vs. electronic fart machines and whoopee cushions
Choose a fart prank toy by how you want to make and control the sound. The Original Pooter is Jack Vale’s hand-operated option for people who want to create the sound themselves.
| Toy type | How the sound is made | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| The Original Pooter by Jack Vale | Air pushed against your palm by squeezing the handheld toy | No batteries or electronic speaker. Hand placement and squeeze control the sound; practice is needed. |
| Electronic fart machine | A speaker plays recorded or electronically generated sounds | Controls, power source and remote features vary by model. Check the individual product specifications. |
| Whoopee cushion | Pressure squeezes air from a cushion | Usually used for a seated surprise. Setup and reinflation depend on the design. |
